BUSINESS AGAINST CRIME SOUTH AFRICA (BACSA)

Business Against Crime South Africa (BACSA) works at the intersection of business, government, and civil society to strengthen the rule of law and enhance the State’s ability to prevent and disrupt organised crime and corruption. Its approach is execution-focused, supporting public institutions by integrating private sector capabilities - including data integration, advanced analytics, and delivery expertise - into areas where improved coordination can drive meaningful impact.

BACSA actively engages with civil society organisations (CSOs) to ensure diverse perspectives inform its work. It also helps empower civil society by creating access to key government processes, enabling more effective participation in policy development and implementation across critical rule of law areas.

By enabling earlier intervention in high-risk areas such as procurement and financial flows, BACSA promotes transparency, accountability, and institutional integrity, contributing to a more effective public sector and a stable, investable economic environment.
